Meet Dr. Richard Arabitg
As a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Richard Arabitg has extensive experience in all cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures to reverse the signs of aging and to correct congenital or traumatic defects.
Dr. Arabitg's leadership and accomplishments in the area of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery have been well documented.
Dr. Arabitg's early success in his medical training earned him the opportunity to establish his practice virtually any place, yet the pull of his hometown roots proved strong. "Having been born and raised in Orlando, it was important to me to return here, back to the area that influenced me to become a surgeon" says Dr. Arabitg.
Dr. Arabitg's on-site, nationally accredited surgical center offers patients comfort and privacy, allowing them to enter and leave through private areas. It's here that his credentials in both plastic surgery and general surgery are essential. After all, a surgeon who has performed every type of surgery (even in emergency situations) is well prepared to anticipate and prevent problems. His busy schedule averages three to four surgery days per week, performing all types of procedures: breast augmentation, tummy tucks, face lifts, rhinoplastys (nose surgery), body lifts and liposuctions. In short he does it all.
Dr. Arabitg is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, as well as the American Board of General Surgery. As a member of the AMA (American Medical Association) and the ACS (American College of Surgeons), Dr. Arabitg promotes continued education and fellowship among surgeons in the interest of staying on the leading edge of knowledge in his field.
Dr. Arabitg graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Medicine. His general surgery residency was completed at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Arabitg was then granted a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Arabitg has staff privileges at all Orlando Regional Healthcare Facilities, Health Central, and many other surgical centers.
